23 april 2003, wed. to 9 may 2003, fri. Pre-alpha. Skating for beginners. The average age in my batch is 17. They said if i hadn't told them, they wouldn't have known the better.

We ride the MRT, visit bookstores, talk about dreams. We like the teddybears and bags at the store, "Egg", but we never have enough extra money to buy any. Coach Bong dela Cerna says "Girls!" when it's time to go on the ice, but in reality, we have one boy batchmate.

Ceres, Margie, and Shalen want to continue figure skating this school year. The boy is being recruited into the hockey team. He won't tell us his name. Ceres calls him "Olympian". Criselia wants to earn her money for new skates (P35,000 brand new) by being a tutor at St. Stephen's. In alpha level, rentals won't work well. Ivy has supportive parents.

As for me, there was a second-hand, like-new pair of skates I could have bought for P22,000.-- but according to my mom I'm simply too old and too busy. She wishes I were still 15. If I were, she'd buy them for me. I'll be alright.
